The Gouni Global Journal of Accounting and Finance (GGJAF) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing knowledge in accounting, finance, and related fields. GGJAF welcomes high-quality, original research articles, reviews, and case studies that contribute to academic and practical discussions.
2. Article Types Accepted
GGJAF accepts the following types of manuscripts:
- Research Articles: Empirical or theoretical studies with original findings.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive analyses of existing research on a specific topic.
- Case Studies: Detailed examinations of real-world financial and accounting issues.
- Conference Papers: Selected papers from academic conferences relevant to the journal’s scope.
3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
3.1 Formatting Requirements
- Manuscripts should be written in English and formatted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced text with 1-inch margins.
- The article length should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references.
- Use APA (7th edition) referencing style for citations and bibliography.
3.2 Manuscript Structure
- Title Page: Includes the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, and contact information.
- Abstract (200–250 words): A concise summary highlighting the study’s objectives, methods, findings, and significance.
- Keywords (3–6 words): Representing the core themes of the article.
- Introduction: Explains the background, research problem, and objectives.
- Literature Review: Discusses existing research and theoretical frameworks.
- Methodology: Details the research design, data sources, and analytical approach.
- Results and Discussion: Presents findings and interprets them in the context of existing literature.
- Conclusion: Summarizes key insights and suggests future research directions.
- References: Lists all sources cited in the paper using APA (7th edition) style.
- Appendices (if applicable): Includes additional material such as tables, figures, or supplementary data.
4. Submission Process
- Authors must submit their manuscripts via the online submission system on ARTICLE SUBMISSION PAGE.
- Manuscripts should not have been published or under review elsewhere.
- All submissions undergo initial screening for plagiarism, formatting, and scope alignment.
- Authors will receive an acknowledgment email upon successful submission.
5. Peer Review Process
- GGJAF follows a double-blind peer review process.
- Each submission is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field.
- Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, significance, and clarity.
- Authors will receive a decision within 2-4 weeks, categorized as:
- Accepted (with or without minor revisions)
- Major Revisions Required
- Rejected (due to scope misalignment or quality concerns)
- Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted within 2 weeks of receiving feedback.
6. Ethical Guidelines
6.1 Plagiarism Policy
- GGJAF strictly prohibits plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
- Manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection tools.
- Any detected plagiarism will lead to immediate rejection of the manuscript.
6.2 Authorship & Contributions
- All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research.
- Any changes in authorship must be communicated before final acceptance.
6.3 Conflict of Interest
- Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their research.
6.4 Data Integrity & Reproducibility
- Authors must provide accurate data and ensure that results are reproducible.
- Fabrication or falsification of data will result in a permanent ban from future submissions.
7. Copyright and Open Access Policy
- GGJAF operates under an open-access model, ensuring free access to published research.
- Authors retain copyright but grant GGJAF non-exclusive publishing rights.
- Articles are licensed under Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0), allowing free distribution with proper citation.
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)
- GGJAF does not charge submission fees.
- Accepted articles may be subject to a publication fee of $50 for the international community, 25000NGN for Nigerian Authors, and 40% waiver on $50 for low-income countries which will be communicated upon acceptance.
- Fee waivers are available for authors from low-income countries and early-career researchers upon request.
